Awards & Press — We make salsa because it's our passion. But hey, awards are nice too.

Scovie Awards

The world's leading recognition for hot and spicy foods, the Scovie Awards were created by Dave DeWitt, founder of Fiery-Foods & BBQ magazine and the National Fiery Foods & Barbecue Show. The awards are named for Wilbur Scoville who pioneered a rating scale for spicy foods and have become the industry standard for excellence for fiery foods and BBQ.

Pace Products in the Press

Rediscovering Pace Products
"They've (Pace) been hard at work over the last decade, creating a line of salsas and dips that is varied and appeals to a multitude of palates."
-Marisa McClellan, Slashfood

Right On Target
The Clarion-Ledger discovers two delicious new flavors from Pace Foods.
"Pace Foods has hit the salsa category's sweet (and savory) spot with new salsas: Pineapple Mango Chipotle and Black Bean & Roasted Corn."
-The Clarion-Ledger

A Simple Mix
"[David Pace's] simple mix of cooked tomatoes, jalapeños, onions, garlic, and vinegar, which he originally dubbed Pace Picante Spanish Hot Sauce, came as a discovery for many home cooks unfamiliar with Tex-Mex cuisine. I still use Pace Picante sauce as a dip for tortilla chips and, in a pinch, as a quick sauce for enchiladas or to brighten the flavor and enhance the color of a beef stew."
-Todd Coleman, Saveur Magazine

Spicy, Delicious
"Pace Salsa Verde. It's spicy, delicious and low calorie. The Pace brand has been around for more than 60 years, but I would never have guessed they'd come out with a salsa this good."
-Dr. Charles Stuart Platkin, www.dietdetective.com

Tidbits
The Los Angeles Daily News raves about the newest Pace salsa flavors!
"More salsas to tickle the taste buds. Pace Foods has introduced Pineapple Mango Chipotle salsa and Black Bean & Roasted Corn salsa. Both have a kick, due to chipotle adobo in the fruit variety and chipotle spice in the bean and corn."
-Los Angeles Daily News
